What it does

bagsbagsbags is inspired by my experience visiting multi-roaster coffee shops like Dayglow and Kumquat in Los Angeles. There are many amazing roasters around the world. What if a Gemini AI barista can help you find your new favorite coffee?

Using the Gemini API, I extracted structured data from roasters' online stores like flavor notes or processing method to build a coffee bag index. I then asked Gemini to be a barista, recommending 1-3 bags from the index given a prompt. Gemini also generates custom label colors for each bag, reflecting its unique flavor profile.

This demo app features five of my favorite roasters, from Norway, Denmark, and US.
