Trivi

What it does

Trivi is a launcher designed to reduce screen usage by leveraging the gemini API, Trivi collects a wide range of user context to understand the user and suggest the best action to take to reduce screen and live in the moment. We mostly use the default Gemini flash with some tweaks and prompt engineering to truly nudge the user into a healthier relationship with their phone. The launcher is wrapped in a minimal and elegant android launcher to reduce distractions. The app allows the user to ask follow up queries as well as clarifications on its suggestions. Additionally, the user has the freedom to personalize Gemini by giving an identity based on the onboarding settings. Using the information from the user’s context, Trivi is able to lead the user to apps that they both like and would promote healthy usage of their phone.
