Para testar rapidamente a API Gemini, use os comandos curl para chamar os métodos na API REST. Os exemplos neste tutorial mostram as chamadas para cada método de API.

O Colab (link em inglês) usa o código Python para definir uma variável de ambiente e exibir uma imagem, mas você não precisa do Colab para trabalhar com a API REST. Será possível executar todos os exemplos de curl fora do Colab, sem modificações, desde que você tenha o API_KEY definido conforme descrito na próxima seção.

Para cada comando curl, especifique o nome do modelo aplicável e a chave de API.

Configurar sua chave de API

Para usar a API Gemini, você precisa de uma chave de API. Crie uma chave no Google AI Studio, se ainda não tiver uma.

Gerar uma chave de API

No Colab, adicione a chave ao gerenciador de secrets abaixo do "", no painel à esquerda. Dê o nome GOOGLE_API_KEY a ela. Depois, você pode adicioná-la como uma variável de ambiente para transmitir a chave na chamada de curl.

Incorporação
